Family Reunion

We had our second Myrl Rogers reunion in November (Myrl is my Dad's mom). One of her favorite things was when the family would get together for Thanksgiving. We would gather at our old church building in Snowflake and have our Thanksgiving feast. It was always so much fun. So, that's what we did for our reunion!

We stayed up in Pinetop at WorldMark! We LOVE that place! It was a little scary driving around in all the snow and ice up there though. We were on our way to Snowflake Thanksgiving morning and the roads were really icy. While we were driving on the highway the car in front of us put their brakes on. We were a safe distance behind them......if there wasn't ice on the road.....We put our brakes on and our car wouldn't stop. Anthon swerved to miss the van in front of us (going 35 mph) and we started to spin into the oncoming lane. We did a full circle and slid backwards right off the road. It was pretty terrifying!! McKay was the only one who wasn't scared. All HE had to say about the whole thing was "That tickled my stomach!!" and then he laughed! He's a crazy kid!

The minute we got to the church building Mason found this little boat. He could NOT leave it alone for a minute! He scooted it around with him everywhere he went =).

One of my cousins brought a portable air hockey table. It was a hit with the kids!

Lots of volleyball was played

We also had a talent show. It was so much fun watching all the kids put on puppet shows and singing songs!
