4th of July

We went to Thatcher for the 4th. It's usually my birthday present =). My sister and her husband own a nursery so we are usually IN the parade instead of watching.

My parents and my sister decorated their Arctic Cats for the parade. Makenna and McKay rode in the back of them. McKay fell asleep during parade =).

They also decorated a float. That is what Anthon and I usually ride on.

After the parade we went to Sarah's house to swim and celebrate Hailey's birthday. It was a nice cool down after the parade!

Pointing at the piece of cake he wanted =)
We went to the fireworks that night. My parents bought our kiddos some glow sticks with flags on them. Mason LOVED his!

Dad was trying to do something cool with the glow stick. lol
We had some family visiting from California that weekend too. It was fun.

My cousin Nathan & my Grandma Gallegos

Bill, Tia Sandra, my cousin Carissa & my Uncle Raul

Hope everyone had a fabulous 4th of July!!!

Ellsworth family reunion

We had another Ellsworth reunion at the end of June. I totally suck at taking pictures lately so there aren't many good ones. We had lots of fun! We went to a place called Anytown in Prescott. It was so much fun spending time with all of Anthon's family.

The next 2 pictures of kind of blurry. Makenna, getting ready for a sack race.

She didn't win but she had fun!

They had an adult race too. Anthon joined the fun.
He got either 1st or 2nd place. I don't remember....

Anthon's Uncle said he saw a shirt that reminded him of Anthon and had to buy it for him =).

We LOVE The Office =). Thanks Uncle Matt!!!

The place that we stayed at had a cook. It was awesome not having to worry about making our meals and cleaning up the mess. The cooks name was Corky. She was AMAZING! She was so nice and loved the whole family. She was so sweet to our children. Every time Makenna went to the dinning hall to get a piece of fruit, she would come back with it on a plate, all cut up for her. Makenna still talks about her =).

McKay having fun on the basketball court.

We had a wonderful time and can't wait for the next one!!

Tractors

What can I say, I have a total BOY on my hands! McKay loves cars, trucks, trains and tractors. My sister, Sarah, and her husband, Matt, own a nursery in Safford. Matt has a tractor over there that he told McKay he could drive it the next time we visited. McKay was SOOO excited.

All of the kiddos got a ride =)
Mason didn't like it so much =) He loved watching....but not riding.
And, of course, a picture of Makenna and her favorite cousin, Aubrey!

Michale Buble'!!

Anthon and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary in April! I was a lot of fun! I didn't get very many pictures though =(.

First, we went to dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. It was so yummy!

When we were done eating we went and checked in at our hotel in Phoenix. This is our room =)
We got freshened up and then left to go see..........Michael Buble'!!!!! We LOVE him! Yes, I mean WE. Anthon loves his music just as much as I do. He is all I ever listen to. And let me tell you, he is AMAZING live! He's hilarious too! It was definitely worth every penny.

Cute!
This next picture is REALLY blurry! I tried to delete it but the computer would let me.... enjoy it anyway =)
All my other pictures were too dark =(. I really need a good camera! Anyway, we checked out of our hotel the next day and went to a few stores to look around and then had Culver's for lunch. I had so much and can't wait until Michael comes back!
Thanks Dorne & Nancy, for watching our kiddos!

Easter

Easter came and went really quick at our home. I haven't really gotten into the holidays much this year =(. I hope that changes soon! Our ward did a community Easter egg hunt the Friday before Easter. There was a HUGE turn out!

Ummm....So...I did my Easter shopping the night before....There wasn't much left so it wasn't as great as last year but the kiddos didn't notice (of course). They were just so excited that the Easter Bunny came!

It didn't take Mason long to figure out how to open the eggs =)

I'm glad that they were just as excited about the fruit as they were the candy! =)
I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Easter and got to spend it with friends and family!

Valentines Day

Valentines Day came and went too fast!! I made some yummy treats this year for a few of my friends.

Thanks to Dorne & Nancy, Anthon and I were able to go on a nice Valentines date, kid free =). Anthon and I met at his parents house so we could hop in his car to leave. When he opened my door I saw a dozen roses waiting in my seat for me =).

He took me to eat at the Cheesecake Factory. We had a very enjoyable evening and Anthon was a sport and walked around Borders with me. He doesn't understand my obsession with books but he humored me anyway. After that, we went to get ice cream at Dairy Queen and then picked up our kiddos. It was nice to get away for a while =).

Valentines dinner for our kids

Valentines Day at my house, when I was growing up, was lots of fun. My parents would cook for us a nice dinner and then tell us to go up stairs and get in our Sunday best. While we were getting ready my parents would set up their formal dinning room with their good dishes and decorate the dinning area. We would come down to a candle lit room and my parents would be our waiters. It was so much fun for us and I decided that I wanted to start that tradition with my kids.
My parents came down to visit on V-day so my Mom helped me decorate while Anthon and my Dad got the kids dressed and played with them until we were ready.

The kids were so excited to eat in the candle light!
Daddy the waiter =)

I hope everyone had a great Valentines Day!!

First trip to the dentist

I know I shouldn't have waited so long to take them to the dentist for the first time, but I know how much I HATE the dentist! I didn't want to put them through it too =).
McKay was scared at first. I had the most HORRIBLE experience that anyone could ever have at the dentist (and I ended up crying) and all of my kiddos happened to be there, watching. So, McKay thought it would make him cry too. He was so good and went along with it anyway.

Waiting for an x-ray

Still scared =(
This is about the time that he realized it wasn't so bad. He was happy after he got his teeth cleaned and actually asked when he would get to go back.

Makenna has always been a brave little soul =). She walked right in and did exactly what they told her to do. She enjoyed being there.

Trying to watch the movie while they were cleaning her teeth.
